Nestled in a tiny region in the south of France, piment d'Espelette cultivation has flourished in a protected natural environment since the 17th century and gained AOP status in 2002. To craft this Chile liqueur, Giffard creates an infusion of whole Espelette peppers made with neutral spirit distilled from sugar beets. The final blend contains Rhum Agricole from Martinique to add depth and complexity.
