Made to the same recipe since 1891, this extraordinary aperitif wine has long been a stable of Asti. It is Cocchi's estate wine infused with a blend of herbs, fruit and spices, most notably gentian, cinchona and citrus, and laid down for a year before release. In piemonte it is served with ice, a zest of orange peel and a slash of soda to bring out all its fragrance and depth. Given the long tradition of its style, Americano Cocchi became a preferred element of many classic mixed drinks.
