Product Description

Glen Moray Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been distilled in the city of Elgin since 1897. Elgin, the capital of Speyside, lies at the heart of Scotland's most famous malt whisky producing region. Glen Moray 16 years old is a Single Malt Scotch Whisky of impeccable character; it can be enjoyed on its own or with a dash of water, releasing a greater range of flavours for you to enjoy. Glen Moray 16 Year Old is quietly matured in traditional, low roofed, warehouses allowing the malt's well-rounded character to develop. Died fruit mixed with chocolate and spices can be found in the whisky's aroma. With a dash of water; further notes emerge including barley sugar, a hint of oak smoke and a whiff of peat. On tasting, Glen Moray 16 years old is smooth with nuances of toffee and mint humbugs, while smoky peat flavour comes later. The Black Watch - The Argyull & Southerland Highlanders - The Highlanders These three modern day Scottish regiments are amongst the most famous of the British army regiments. The Black Watch was originally raised in 1725 and still retains its headquarters in Perth. The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders were formed in 1881 and the regimental headquarters are at Stirling Castle. The Highlanders are the army's newest combat infantry battalion, formed in 1994 -- they are the descendants of five famous Scottish regiments raised in the late 18th century and are based in inverness. The illustrations show a selection of the regiments that have amalgamated through the years to form these three modern day regiments and the illustration represents how regimental dress has evolved.
