Product Description

Our History In 1886, William Grant fulfilled a lifeling ambition by building his own distillery. He named it Glenfiddich, Gaelic for Valley of the Deer, and on Christmas Day 1887 the first drop flowed from the stills. Today, still owned by William Grant's family, Glenfiddich is the world's leading single malt. Our Coopers and Casks We are one of few distilleries to retain an on-site cooperage, ensuring every cask we use is of the highest quality. After 18 years in Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks, our whisky is married in oak tuns for at least three months in small, numbered batches. With award-winning depth and complexity, Glenfiddich 18 Year Old has notes of baked apple and cinnamon. Our Awards Since 2000, Glenfiddich has received more awards than any other single malt Scotch Whisky at the International Spirits Challenge and International Wine and Spirit Competition. Skillfully crafted. Enjoy responsibly. Display Tubes/Boxes: Display boxes subject to availability.

… the mild aroma has a distinct, sherry-like dried apricot note. The palate is relatively dry, with hints of cocoa, leather, stone fruit and clove. Adding water coaxes out more vanilla sweetness and hints of citrus, exiting dry and spiced.

Luxe and easy-sipping. Look for enticing notes of butterscotch, baked pear, cinnamon and clove on the nose and palate, swathed in just the right amount of smokiness.
