Ana Pellicer is an artist whose sculptural work, in large part, has been done in the burnished reds and shining ochres of copper. Her painting uses tempera, and for this piece she represents the colors of the classic Tequila landscape with a medieval technique in order to define its mystical glazes and enigmatic transparencies.
