Lazzaroni Sambuca is a sweet strong liqueur, whose base consists of essential oils extracted through steam distillation of seeds from the star anise with the addition of a concentrated solution of sugar and other natural aromas. Called "Anisetta" in the original recipe from the 1800's, today sambuca is still faithfully produced according to the family formula. Sweet and velvety, viscous with intense but delicate flavors, absolutely clear and colorless and always smooth on the palate.
