Nellie Jane Collins, pictured on the front label and below, was born to Linsey Collins and Mary Jane (Wilson) Collins on may 18, 1895 in Kinta Indian Territory, in what is now called Black Gum, Oklahoma. However, Nellie's great grandparents lived in Knox Co., Tennessee where Nellie connected with the Tennessee Moonshine / Whiskey tradition. And in 1913, Nellie Collins and Thomas Loggins married, Thomas hailed from another family deeply rooted in Tennessee tradition. A special thanks to our great-great grandpa, Solomon "old Sol" Collins, Corn farmer by night. Solomon "Old Sol" started his family tradition some time around 1858. It is our pleasure to honor our pleasure to honor our ancestry by bringing back their Tennessee family whiskey recipe to share with all of you.
