This one packs a punch but is soft and gentle at the same time … Like all good whiskeys, it saves the best for last, with a long, creamy finish of chocolate and spice.

What critics and judges wrote
The fruity confectionary notes continue on the palate but the spice is amped up and peppery, with a rich mouthfeel. … The finish is of moderate length and a touch hot, but nicely balances spiced oak, chocolate croissant, and berries.
Compared to the Classic version from the brand, this bourbon is more balanced. It shows more dark caramel and vanilla aromas as well as some dark cherries and brown butter. … But it's also fine to enjoy as a sipper.
Gentle nose but wide palate of ripe yellow fruits, chocolate and vanilla. This develops spices and hazelnut to bring about a pleasingly sweet finish with candied peel to the fore.
