Product Description
No whisky reveals the character if uts biirthplace better than Talisker. To know Talisker is to feel the power of the sea, and sense its rugged location on the banks of Loch Harport, on the foreboding Isle of Skye. Talisker Storm" takes this most intense of experienced to a new level. The sweet warmth and briny, peppery finish that are the symbol of the Talisker character have been carefully accentuated through a skilful blend of differing aged Talisker casks. The profound maritime character achieves a deeper intensity, like a warm welcome from a wild Hebridean sea. Bottled at the distillery's uniwue 45.8% ABV, Talisker Storm is a truly tempestuous Single Malt. Display Tubes/Boxes: Display boxes subject to availability.

What critics and judges wrote
… this brisk, briny single malt carries honey and campfire smoke aromas on the nose. On the palate, a salted caramel flavor unfolds, with smokiness leading into the brisk finish that brushed with fleeting notes of citrus and rich espresso.
The nose can be summarized very well with the terms smoky and maritime. Fine nuances of malty sweetness, phenolic peat and a hint of salt on the palate. Light-footed in the medium-long finish.
The nose is youthful but rounded, with brine, burning wood embers, vanilla, and honey. Sweet and spicy on the palate, with cranberries and black currants, while peat smoke is always present, plus black pepper.
The smoke and saline qualities come through on the aroma of the whisky. … not a bad expression, but it loses points for a name that doesn't deliver; this is more moody and brooding than stormy and intense.
Big, fruity peat on the nose, redolent of Kilchoman. Incredibly fruity on the tongue with big red berries, ripe apricots and greengages filling the palate. Very pleasant on the finish, a very drinkable dram.
