Caribbean Rum Cask Finish This small batch bottling of Tomintoul has been created by specially selecting Tomintoul aged in exceptional ex-bourbon American oak barrels, which are then married and finished in handslected Caribbean rum barrels. This process of "finishing" creates a beautifully rich, complex and full flavoured single malt. The Tomintoul Single Malt whisky is a testament to our Master Distiller, Robert Fleming, whose family has been making whisky in the Speyside Glenlivet region for four generations. After years of searching for the purest natural water in Scotland we discovered the Ballantraun Spring. For thousands of years this water has been flowing through the mountainside near Tomintoul, the highest village in the Highlands. In the heart of the Speyside Glenlivet Region, the Tomintoul Distillery was built to capture the unique resource. NOSE: Fresh and bright with aromas of raspberry blossom, coconut oil, Parma violets and custard Danish. PALATE: Layers of muscovado sugar, iced buns and cinder toffee bound with lotus biscuits, nougat and coconut cream.
