Expertly crafted from hand-selected agaves grown in the highlands of Jalisco. Highland agaves are famous for their sweet, fruity taste, aromatic floral & citrus notes. Handcrafted agaves are baked in traditional stone ovens called "Hornos" for 72 hours. Roasted agaves taste like exquisite syrupy candy & obtain a sweet honied, earthy aroma. Espanita Tequila is double distilled in small batches using alembic pot stills. Only the purest middle part of the distillate (known as "the heart" or "el corazon") is used. Espanita Anejo is best served neat or on the rocks. Let it release flavors in the glass. Aged for 18 months in bourbon barrels anejo is rich in vanilla & toasted agave flavors.
