The nose is a bright mix of tart lemons, flint stone, and cherry cough syrup. … The finish ties the whiskey together, balancing restrained fruit sweetness with more dark chocolate and pronounced toasted oak.
The aroma is robust with vanilla and caramel notes along with some stone fruit (peaches, nectarines). … Overall the bourbon is peppery and the wine finish adds just enough sweetness and fruit to smooth out the rough edges.
