First the distillation is a doubly run in Charentais cooper pot stills, giving a round and elegant malt distillate. Then the aging is made in French oak barrels, balancing new and old casks, for subtle spicy notes and silky tannis. Aromas and flavors of prunes, flower garden, saddle leather, and peach fuzz … A delicate and nuanced malt whiskey that will be a nice summer sipper on ice and fun cocktail choice.
Dark and fruity flavors with baked orange, dried apricot, red apple, creamy milk chocolate, malt, and dried red fruits, it ends on a bright, spicy note. Definitely worth a try.
Soft hints of spicy oak with generous vanilla and candied apricots; a rounded mouthfeel and hints of dark chocolate give richness, character and lingering flavours on the length.
