Multi-layered nose, savoury, slightly ethereal pine needle, oak, malt and fine sweetness. Spicy on the palate, light fruity, ripe barrel notes, fresh, dry body, long, astringent, yellow-fruity, subtly smoky finish.
A beguiling aroma of buttered toast and sweet-tart apple leads into a soft, rounded palate where caramel wafers and candied lemon mingle effortlessly. Rich grassy notes from oak lend an elegant, layered structure that lingers cleanly and with finesse.
There are fruits galore from apples and oranges to cherries and raisins. Caramel and toffee are the sweet elements here with the salt and smoke components acting as a gentle mist in your glass.
