… this is a sweetie of a blended Scotch. The first feather-light sips open with vanilla custard, orchard fruit and coconut cream, rounding into enticing red fruit on the finish.
Sweet and creamy, there are rich flavors of vanilla panna cotta, candied fruit, pear, apricot, and white chocolate … this is astonishingly good for pleasurable drinking and mixing.
The journey sets out as we might expect; all sweet vanilla ice cream, stewed pear tart, and peach melba, but then a wave of spice and white pepper provides an unexpected but delightful twist.
Banana bread on the nose which leads to a hint of dunnage warehouse floor and dried apricots. Honey on the palate with spices, green apple, crystallized ginger and cloves. The finish gives are cloves and some ginger notes.
A freshly cooked crepe covered in lemon juice and sugar, so the aroma is wafting off this glass. … The palate is equally as sweet and pastry-led with hints of orange peel, apricot and a curious lime-based citrus note.
