Hello. You're holding a bottle of OAK CROSS, our malt Scotch whisky named for the special marrying casks we use to age the whiskies. Our coopers put new French oak heads into American oak casks so the whiskies aged in them share the best flavour traits of both. We are artisan whiskymakers. For us, making whisky is like making art. You begin with an idea, a vision. You form it using both traditional practice and your own inspiration. Then you share it with the world. This is what we do. Through careful cask selection, artful blending of flavours, use of the highest quality oak and innovative thinking, we create delicious whiskies that combine richness, balance and purity of flavour. I hope you enjoy our work. Flavour: Notes of clove spice and vanila accent a sweet maltiness and subtle fruit character. Sourcing: All Highland single malts, notably from the villages of Brora, Alness and Carron. Wood: Primary maturation in a mix of first-fill and re-fill American oak. Secondary maturation in Oak Cross marrying casks of French and American oak. Bottling: Natural colour. Non-chill filtered. Recommendations: As an aperitif served with chilled water in the winter months. Full enough to serve as a summer-time digestif. Display Tubes/Boxes: Display boxes subject to availability. Display boxes are shipped separately from the bottles which is the reason for the extra cost.
