Master Distiller Dennis Malcolm, the longest serving distiller in Scotland, crafted this 15 YEARS OLD single malt Scotch whisky at 50% ABV "BATCH STRENGTH," bringing an intensified expression of THE GLEN GRANT'S signature style. Matured in hand-selected first-fill ex-bourbon casks, an impactful flavor is further enhanced by non chill-filtration for a fuller texture. This golden liquid offers aromas of citrus fruit and toffee accompanied by a rich palate of spiced pear, apricot and vanilla, leaving a nutty finish with delicate notes of fruit. The ingenious JAMES GRANT, "THE MAJOR," was a forward thinking and unconventional man. He personally designed innovative tall slender pot stills with unique vapour coolers to achieve his vision of a seductively smooth, fruit rich, superior single malt.

The result is a honeyed aroma that mixes fresh apple and pear with a floral hint. The palate opens softly at first, with plenty of fruit and a light veil of peat smoke.
Bright, fresh, and sweet on the nose, with green apple, melon, sugared lemon slice, almond cream, vanilla, and a hay field in the sun.
The nose is fresh and floral, with rose petals, Turkish delight, and cinnamon. Supple on the palate, clean and fruity, with developing soft toffee, pear drops, ginger, and a floral carryover from the nose.
Overall this is a sweet, honeyed whisky with sweet notes of marzipan, accompanied by lemon peel and a whisper of saw dust. … No frills, just good whisky.
Rich and rounded with summer fruits and an abundance of fresh peach and honeysuckle. Creamy vanilla fudge underpinned by tropical notes of banana with white pepper. Spicy with a sandalwood and chilli dry finish.
This has coconut and fudge, soft peaches and tropical fruits, along with an elegant and subtle floral character. The finish is light and dry, with a citrus hint.
