Product Description
Johnnie Walker Green Label is a rich, vibrant and balanced blend created using only Single Malt whiskies, matured for at least 15 years in European and American Oak. Blended together these whiskies open up a greater depth and a wider range of flavors than is possible with one Single Malt whisky alone. Each of the Single Malt whiskies in Johnnie Walker Green Label has its own distinctive character, so the challenge was to create a blend of great depth and complexity without losing the individuality of the malts... Not an easy task! To produce these beautifully balanced flavors we've brought together whiskies from the four corners of Scotland -- classic Speyside, Highland, Lowland and Island Single Malts. Among the Single Malts included are Talisker from the Isle of Skye for its intense smoke and spiciness, Linkwod from Speyside for freshness and vibrancy, Cragganmore, which brings fragrance and maltiness and Caol Ila -- the Isle of Islay's best kept secret -- for its big maritime character. This is a naturally intense blend, with a distinct smokiness. I suggest you enjoy its great flavors neat or over ice and in good company. - Jim Beveridge, Master Blender

What critics and judges wrote
The result is an effortless mix of lightly smoky and oaky caramel notes, and a smooth, velvety feel. A splash of branchwater amps up the peat quotient.
Powerful nose with prominent savoury notes of vanilla and clove, as well as pastry notes and subtle smoky nuances. … Pleasantly round, almost oily on the palate, with a beautiful balance of smoke and sweetness on the long finish.
… this hearty, malty dram conveys peppery smoke, kippers, dry spices, pencil shavings, a biscuit-like cereal note, and more pungent peat smoke as the glass warms up. … Fruit follows smoke, with vanilla, pastry desserts, and peppercorn spices …
It has a beautifully well integrated oak and rich peat smoky notes and long spicy finish with autumn forest floor and earthy elements. A superb example with a nice and elegant delivery.
