Sometimes bourbon doesn't need to taste like anything other than bourbon, and this is one of those times. … Big flavor, classic, a little sweet, a little charr-y. Hello, bourbon!

Product Description
Old Fitzgerald Spring 2021 Bottled-in-Bond 8 Year Old is the seventh national release in Heaven Hill's Old Fitzgerald Decanter Series, and it holds a special place in the lineup as the first 8 year age statement the series ever released. The bourbon was distilled in spring 2013 and bottled in spring 2021, pulled from three different rickhouses on different floors to build out its final flavor. Like every entry in this series, it's a true Bottled-in-Bond release: a single distillery, a single distilling season, aged at least four years, and bottled at exactly 100 proof (50% ABV). It's a wheated bourbon, so wheat takes the place of rye as the secondary grain, giving it a smoother, sweeter side. Expect brown sugar, toasted cinnamon, and fresh cut oak on the nose, with vanilla, cream, and a touch of light summer fruit on the palate leading into a warm, gently spiced finish. It comes in the same ornate decanter styled after the original 1950s Old Fitzgerald bottle, with the green label that marks every spring release. Highlights First 8 year age statement in the Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond series Distilled spring 2013, bottled spring 2021 100 proof and Bottled-in-Bond certified Wheated mash bill for a smooth, sweet profile Spring release decanter with signature green label
