Amber in color, with a resiny, nutty scent. Despite oaky flavor and a thin feel, there's a very nice vanilla finish. Alcohol bite. Mix it in a cocktail and feel no guilt about it.
Very light in aroma and flavor. There are no off flavors. It's just uninspiring. Delicate notes of vanilla custard, honey, caramel corn, sweet corn, and subtle fruit. Fleeting finish.
First thoughts about the whisky included the peanut shells found on the floor of some pubs. … The whisky fades on your palate fairly quickly and you are just left with peanut shells and maybe some barrel spices.
Elegantly soft stone fruit and apple aromas with a vanilla creaminess on the palate.
Some nice ripe fruitiness combine with cooked corn and more savoury notes such as beef stock.
