Product Description
Forty Creek Copper Pot Whiskey is made by renowned whiskey maker John Hall. Using a selection of rye, corn and barley grains. Hall distills each grain separately in a traditional copper pot still to create a spirit that is bold and complex. Patient extra ageing takes place in white oak barrels and the resulting whiskey is bottled at 43% alcohol to complement the flavour profile.

What critics and judges wrote
Dark chocolate, vanilla cream, and dark cherry greet you on the nose. … On the palate, Turtle Candies came to mind (pecans and caramel covered in chocolate). The sweet and spicy notes balance each other …
Cloves, ginger, and cinnamon burst over creamy rich butterscotch and searing red pepper, restrained only by dry rye grain and bitter orange. … Dramatic and delightful.
Some nice soft vanilla and toffee notes with a smattering of ripe orchard fruit and spice.
A deep russet in colour with some big, bold toffee aromas and notes of nut and spice. Dried fruit and bursts of peppery spice carry through into a long, smooth finish.

Flavor scores are our estimates. A flavor scores higher when more critics mention it and when they describe it more strongly, so no single review sets the result. They are not a rating from any publication.
