What critics and judges wrote
Soft tropical fruit with a rich depth of stone fruit on the nose and a palate that crescendos through a wood spiciness to finish.

Pretty notes of wood spice, chocolate, leather, and tart fruits with a lingering finish.
Gentle nose of spice and orchard fruit. Palate is likewise soft, with a background of oak, layered with brown sugar sweetness.
Dense, compact nose - lots of malty grain, vanilla fudge and fresh fruit salad. It shows its quality with a well-made palate displaying sweet toffee and cream.
Luxuriant and smoky with jubilant flavours of spicy cinnamon, dried peel and juicy raisins. Appealingly dry at the finish with a gorgeous hint of delectable caramel. Lovely.
Subtle but beautifully balanced, with creamy vanilla, honeyed sweetness and touches of rich smoke and oaky spices. Plenty of talent!
Little warm on the alcohol but it makes it big and powerful. The palate is rich with fine oaky notes and an earthy edge with plenty of spices.
Huge honey notes and lots of lots of malty goodness are combined with a creamed corn note from the aged grain whisky, … but an undisputed aged note of oak spice which continues brilliantly into the finish.
In the mouth, grapefruit and orange dominate the vanilla, yet the mouthfeel is thinner and the acidity tips toward the taste of bitter orange seeds. A lingering bitter orange finish.
Up front this whisky is a sweet talker … The palate sings a slightly different tune with early notes of malt, melodies of delicate smoke and wisps of briny sea breeze.
Vanilla, citrus, orange peel, sweet yuzu and fresh grass on the nose. The palate has toasted oak, citrus with some aged tropical fruits. The finish is medium with toasted barrel notes, spice and citrus.

On the palate, it reveals delicious malted biscuit and dusty baking spices, complemented by zesty and vibrant flavors. The expression is sweet, driven by vanilla and orchard fruits, with a smooth, medium weight and crisp citrus balancing the sweetness.
Caramelised fruit, with toffee and sweet nectarines standing out. The palate is lighter than the nose would suggest, slowly ramping up to the finish. Vanilla, caramel, cream, spices, some salinity. Good balance. The aftertaste doesn't linger for too long.
Mild aromas of candied fruit on the nose. The palate is light with a malty body with a whiff of smoke through to a well balanced, orange-scented finish.
