Falstaff · September 2022
A nice maltiness, a hint of honey and orange intermediate notes are vivid on the nose. Quite lean and pleasant on the palate, with fine fruity notes and some mead lingering onto the finish.

Lots of caramel, sugared corn flakes and vanilla are clearly evident on the nose. There is a slight hint of milk chocolate on the palate, with apricot in the background. Gentle finish with little savouriness.

Light nose with typical nuances of barley malt and filigree maltiness. Typical, slightly grassy flavour with some green hazelnut and cereal scented in the light-bodied finish. Good drinking flow.
Wine Enthusiast · Kara Newman · March 2011
Golden honey color. The aroma is a pleasing mix of caramel and faint smoke. Bold, oaky flavors, rich feel and beautiful, lingering butterscotch finish with a faint whisper of smoke and just the right amount of bite. Sip over ice.

The initial earthy, vegetal aromas expand to include deeper aromas of grain, malt, flax and oak following aeration time. Entry is light and gently sweet; … Ends up delectably sweet, easy and smooth.
Whisky Advocate · Jonny McCormick · 2021
Cereal-led aromas on a classic Irish whiskey nose … A scrumptious palate of lemon, white chocolate, soft-serve vanilla ice cream, and sweet honey … Perfect for a lazy Sunday: There's very little wrong with this.

Distiller · Stephanie Moreno
A very quaffable whiskey, Kilbeggan is light and smooth with light cereal and honey notes. The finish isn't very long, but that is just fine, particularly on a hot, humid day.

A little closed, sweet with caramel and soft spices mixed with meadow flowers. Floral and sweet palate with a little confected fruit. Beautifully balanced.
