A rich aroma dominated by vanilla, pralines, and cola showcases well-integrated wood that smacks of tobacco, candied nuts, and dark chocolate. … The maturity and refinement here are lovely to behold—fruit, spice, and earth, draped over crystalline sweetness.

Product Description
Old Fitzgerald Fall 2019 Bottled-in-Bond 15 Year Old is a limited release from Heaven Hill Distillery, part of the beloved Old Fitzgerald Decanter Series. It was distilled back in 2004 and spent a full 15 years aging in a federally bonded Kentucky warehouse. As a true Bottled-in-Bond bourbon, it comes from a single distilling season at one distillery and is bottled at exactly 100 proof (50% ABV). This is a wheated bourbon, meaning wheat stands in for rye as the secondary grain, giving it a softer, sweeter character. You'll find caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak on the nose, honeyed sweetness with a touch of spice on the palate, and a long, warm finish that lingers. It's also bottled in an ornate decanter styled after the original 1950s Old Fitzgerald bottle, so it looks as good as it drinks. Highlights 15-year age statement, one of the oldest in the series 100 proof and Bottled-in-Bond certified Wheated mash bill for a smooth, sweet profile Fall 2019 release, distilled in 2004 at Heaven Hill Classic decanter presentation, hard to find at this age
