Matured in American white oak and exclusive Matusalem oloroso sherry casks. A Royal Heritage Bestowed in 1263 by the King of Scotland, the 'Royal' 12-point stag proudly adorns each bottle of The Dalmore, encapsulating the distillery's regal legacy. The Art of The Dalmore For over 150 years, The Dalmore has set the standard in multi cask maturation. Carefully composed spirit and hand selected casks, from the world's finest bodegas and wineries, are expertly curated to create a sumpuous and layered whisky of legendary finesse. Aged 18 Years A magnificent whisky matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks and exclusive casks which have held 30 year old Matusalem oloroso sherry. The Aroma Vanilla, dark chocolate, orange and cinnamon. On The Palate Dark chocolate, candied citrus fruits, rich coffee, nutmeg and soft liquorice. Finishing Notes Citrus fruits and rich molasses. The end result is a robust, full-bodied, luscious sip, with plenty of rich, concentrated caramel, toffee, fudge and cocoa. It finishes long and bracing, with clove, cigar wrapper and espresso accents.

The whisky is quite chewy and, in fact, tastes of the Nestlé candy Chunky which is milk chocolate, raisins, and peanuts. The fruit that stands out is orange and the finish is very nutty and slightly bitter.
