Product Description

Triple distilled for a smoother taste, this vatting of single pot still and single malt whiskey is matured and aged to perfection in bourbon infused barrels. Fragrant notes of green apple and honey give way to pot still spice and summer fruits with a deep finish fading into spiced oak and butterscotch. A unique vatting using 70% aged single pot still whiskey with intense aroma and complexity giving a classic, extra smooth taste a creation by founder Bernard Walsh.

What critics and judges wrote

IWSC judges · Gold · 2023
Aromatic nose with intense aromas of sweet apple crumble, vanilla, creamy caramel and citrus zest that continue to develop on the palate. Mango dominates the palate with super smooth, elegant spice and caramel.

Lively fruit pings on the nose alongside malty notes and a little jam while tropical flavours and wood polish emerge on the palate and end in a lightly spicy finish.
Bronze2019iwsc.net ↗
A lifted nose with some mildly oxidised, rancio aromas. It has a bit of an European oak and fine sherry influence.
Whisky Advocate · Jonny McCormick · 2019
This noses of crumbly shortbread, vanilla, caramel, orange peels, summer blooms, walnut, and earthy whole spices … Peppercorn and dark berry mark the finish of this graceful, mellow, and subdued limited-release, triple-distilled whiskey.

The taste is quite active, with honey, cinnamon, gingerbread, ground almond, and dark chocolate. There is a brief flat spot where the bitterness burns through, before it fades to leave a pleasing tickle around the gums.
Distiller · Stephanie Moreno
Pear and apple fruits attack your senses both on your nose and palate. … Though not exceedingly complex, the whiskey is pleasing and easy like Sunday morning.

World Whiskies Awards judges · Bronze · 2025
A soft palate reveals vanilla and light oak, bolstered by hints of dark chocolate. The finish introduces burnt rubber, orange blossom and mahalepi spice backed by a touch of petrol for a complex, enjoyable experience.

Wine Enthusiast · P.P. · September 2008
Smells curiously of vegetable stock that's loaded with celery, onion, carrots and parsley; … Palate entry is grainy sweet and pleasantly dry and lean, even a touch austere; midpalate is prickly and acutely peppery. Ends toasty.
