Aged in two cask types; firstly BOURBON BARRELS giving the whiskey its smooth warmth and secondly in OLOSORO SHERRY CASKS for those unique fruity notes and spice synonymous with the Whistler. Cask Type No.1: Bourbon Barrels We use first fill bourbon barrels to give our blend its butterscotch sweetness and caramel tones. Cask Type No.2: Oloroso Sherry Casks Sourced from the heart of Spain's sherry country, our blend absorbs the fruity qualities of the finest Oloroso Sherry giving notes of dried fruit and spice.
