What critics and judges wrote
Initially slightly savory on the nose, then peaches and cream, and soft spices. The palate is supple and sweet, with vanilla, mango, and passion fruit. The finish is long, with spicy pears.
A fruity and floral nose (dried fruits, candied lemon, orange) lead the way to a very evolving palate. Beginning with initial sweet notes of vanilla to drier wine-y aromas, nuts, and fruits. The finish is lingering and spicy.
Madeira cake and the indulgence of pastel de natas on the nose. To taste, the buttery pastry notes prevail with a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg … Freeze-dried strawberries on the finish.
Lively peat nose, pear, and tobacco on the palate with a rich and round finish.
