This is a perfect match for the season's gingerbreads and spice cakes. Look for a warm, toasted-brioche aroma and pronounced flavors of vanilla, oak, dried figs, clove and allspice.
Amber, with a caramel and apple scent and a big caramel finish mixed with creamy citrus. Brisk alcohol means this smooth spirit is best mixed with alcohol.
The generous aroma emits powerful scents of honey, oloroso Sherry and dark toffee … at midpalate the taste expands to include marzipan and brandied cherries. Finishes beautifully, if a bit tight and suddenly reined-in.
