What critics and judges wrote
Bright aromas of green pear and grapes greet the senses, complemented by creamy custard and polished oak. The palate reveals toffee and orchard fruits before a juicy, refreshing finish with a touch of white pepper.

Bright tropical fruits and ripe peaches lead with a delicate syrupy sweetness, underpinned by subtle malt. This flows into a dense, refreshing mouthfeel, finishing with a balanced, lingering sweetness with gentle citrus notes.
Evocative apple orchard aromas with sweet fruit and wood profile. A refined, dry finish.
Ripe apple and pear notes with some candied fruit flavours. A hint of leafy green adds a nice counter to the fruit sweetness. Light-bodied with a medium finish.
Nutty notes as well as honeydew melon and pome fruit in the aroma. The notes are also found in the taste together with a maltiness. The finish is quite long with a gentle finish.

Nuts, honey and herbs give the first impression on the nose. Tropical drops are added on the palate. Relatively full-bodied with a pleasant malty finish. There is a slight hint of wood smoke in the finish.
The sherry cask maturation is the key; mouthwatering autumn fruits plucked from the trees, cinnamon-apple cobbler, and cocoa-dusted raisins. … It slips away reluctantly, leaving a long, dark sweetness behind it. One glass is never enough.
… the color of the whiskey is dark as are the spices and fruits you find in the dram. The texture is nicely full and smooth. … when you're at your favorite dive bar … This is the whiskey that you order.
Sweet and lightly floral on the nose, with nuts and chocolate liqueur on the palate. Lingering alcoholic finish, with more chocolate liqueur.
Possesses a high ratio (80%+) of malt whiskey. Black Bush's racy bouquet offers aromas of toffee, cotton candy, malt mash and cream highlight. Palate entry is deep, dark caramel-like and stunningly luscious. Simply, one of the greatest whiskeys from Ireland.
