As Veruca Salt would say, "I want it now!" … The trail mix filled dram also has deep malt flavors with the texture creamy, not cloying. Towards the finish, the whiskey becomes dry and spicy.

Product Description
Found on County Antrim's coastline, the village of Bushmills is home to Ireland's oldest whiskey distillery. Official records stretch back to 1608, when the area was granted its license to distil. Over 400 years later, whiskey is still being made in Bushmills, thanks to the experience and craft we've passed from generation to generation. We couldn't make our whiskey anywhere but here. Our water, drawn from the river Bush, flows over beds of basalt rock, the same rock that lends its unique character to another local attraction -- the Giant's Causeway. The casks selected for aging our whiskeys are also essential, so we keep close ties with cask-makers in Spain, Portugal and America. Once shipped to the Bushmills distillery the casks are filled and left to mature, working their magic to give our whiskey its enjoyably rich, mellow yet distinct flavor. BUSHMILLS 21 year old single malt id thr pride of our distilling heritage. It is matured for at least 19 years in oloroso sherry and bourbon casks, followed by a final two years of maturation in Madeira casks. This unique combination of woods gives our 21 year old an enjoyable depth of flavour. Dried fruit flavours are interweaved with spicy malt and toasted raisin notes. It is full and sweet on the nose, with soft spice and orange peel. It has a smooth texture on the palate with an intense finsih of liquorice and oak.

What critics and judges wrote
Bushmills' sumptuous magnum opus spins aromas of sultana, brown sugar, walnut oil, date slice, chocolate-covered cranberries, leather gloves, and a hint of espresso. … A must-try for all.

Richly flavored aroma, with notes of toffee, raisins, dates, honeyed malt, and demerara rum. … It is complex in flavor and very well balanced. It is one of the best Irish whiskeys on the market.
Aromas of figs and strawberries are underpinned by polished leather. The palate reveals juicy sultanas and baked apple, before an attractive, citrusy finish of lingering honey and grapefruit.

Buttery lemon shortbread aromas with bright, juicy tropical fruit flavours, finishing gently with a sweet, green elderflower note that lingers.
Warm, vanilla nose that has notes of pastries, cakes and banana bread. The palate does not disappoint with delicate, elegant aromas that are both sweet and fine. The finish is a crescendo of flavours you didn't even notice were building.
It retains the enticing fresh-fruit aroma of younger bottlings, plus a luscious layer of butterscotch. On the palate, it's oaky and drying, with complex notes of toffee, dark chocolate, toasted nuts, caramel and a spicy finish.
Oak fills up the nose, combined with some sweet orange, cinnamon and pepper prickle. The palate has an almost hoppy note to it, with more citrus, some grapefruit and spice into a nicely long finish.
Show 1 more note, 2015
Sweet and fruity, with spicy Granny Smith apple pie and some polished oak. Toffee apple palate, with a fudgy finish run through with waxy fruit.
